FreebieMom.com is a couponing blog that has been around for a couple of years. During our time following this blog, we did come across a couple of issues. FreebieMom was previously known as CouponClipinista, but they have rebranded (in May of 2016) in order to try to revamp their spammy reputation. Don't be fooled.
PROS:
- Updated everyday.
- Posts are in order and are easy to follow, chronologically.
Unfortunately, there are a lots of problems that do need to be addressed.
- Very, very, very cluttered website. Definitely not user friendly.
- Had a difficult time navigating the website.
- Hard to distinguish content from ads. This site probably had the most amount of ads that we came across while following all blogs reviewed.
- Often mentions "RUN!" in Facebook posts, and even post titles, when the coupon or freebie isn't likely to expire soon. Misleading.
- Norton Anti-Virus did issue a 'Virus Warning' twice during our regular visits, probably due to the amount of ads. Be cautious.
- Seemed to regularly copy content from other blogs. Very similar wording, and FreebieMom posted after. Lack of originality.
- Never ever gives credit to other websites when they post a deal found on another website.
- Their Facebook page is worse than communism. Mention ANYTHING the admins do not like (including asking if a freebie is legit), and you're banned.
- Huge logo on website makes it harder to see the actual content. Need to scroll down a lot.
- Purchased well over 2 million Facebook "Likes". Don't believe the hype, they are purchased "Likes".

I disagree the site is legit (I've personally won) . It dies of alot of ads on the websit, but contest are real!
Use google chrome and Ublock extension and you never see ads. I didn't know she had ads until I logged in from phone.

You're* and just an fyi, the people running freebie mom collect money every time you click their blog, every time you sign up for survey sites, and every time you make a purchase on sywr. That page has profited over $500,000 just on sywr alone. 10 cents plus 10% off of instagc referrals. That page never gives credit to anyone for posting sweeps, sweeps which are found on multiple pages. Just look up freebie shark.
I just won a 20 dollar amazon card from her so no she is not a scam.
There is no way that this is a totally legit site. Maybe the small stuff gets awarded to a winner, but there are contests for things like a "furnished house with washer and dryer", vehicles, etc. Don't think so.

She is a SCAM ARTIST!!! She makes money off of all of her followers and she doesn't give back to all of them. What a rip off joke. It's totally not fair to any of her followers. She gets extra entries for giveaways and every time someone signs up under her referrals for surveys she makes money off of THEM. What is she doing with all the money? Definitely not giving back! WAKE UP!
I have found a page called Moms4Freebies/Coupons who are not like Freebie Mom. They post really good freebies or low cost items. They have a site where you can play the instant win games, sign up for giveaways and sweepstakes and survey sites but they only post freebies on their facebook page
She is a liar and misleading all of the people who use her site. She posts about doing survey sites which hundreds of people sign up for daily. She makes 10% of everything every one of these people make on just one site alone. She says she doesn't have adds but her website is nothing but adds and the link to the legitimate contest is often hidden by these ads. You will click on the link to be taken to the contest and somehow have just mysteriously clicked on her add. She is misleading in the way that she posts to Facebook saying things like - like for 10 million share for 20 while showing a picture of a wad of cash. This makes people believe she is the one giving out these large sums. She also makes 15% of every sell from anyone connected to her on the shop your way site. If she is your personal shopper she makes money off of you.
On her winner's list the same person's name will be listed 5 or 6 times for winning on her personal give aways. She says that she does not receive products to promote but that is also very false. Yes she does have accurate information on her site. Yes if you listen to her you will undoubtedly win something. However, in that process she will lie through her teeth. All you have to do to see that I am telling you the truth is go to her post about a survey site. Where it says click here right click with your mouse. Then say copy link. Now go into google or anywhere for that matter and now right click and say paste. You will see a referral link. Do not kid yourselves. She makes thousands a day on monetization and off of her followers signing up for things.

Half of her freebies are magazine subscriptions. Anytime someone asks about a prize they have won from her she immedietly deletes the comment. She has had people working for her for years but does not give them any credit and from what I have heard goes through employees like crazy because she treats them absolutley terribly.
This past Friday night freebie mom friended me. Told me i won 10.000.00 dollars. But the catch was i was to go to a wester union pay 2 hundred and 99 dollars to get the money sent to me. No th 10 thousand cause taxes taken out which i understand. Told freebie mom dont have the money for western union husband layed off no unemployment. So i told her i would forfeit the money. But asked if i can still enter for prizes. She told me no. This site is a big big fake
Freebie mom is very legit. I have won from her personally and several times from sweepstakes and instant win games she tells her followers about. I am NOT a paid like. And so what if she makes money from her website. Everyone has ads and click bait now, but at least when you click there it takes you to a sweep or iwg or freebie. And she changed her name because she's more about freebies and games than coupons now. I've been following her for a few years.
I was banned from freebie mom. I hit my angry button,which was an accident, site was crazy during live view,and while it was fluttering it hit angry instead of wow. I emailed them to explain, and NO response.I did remove the angry icon as soon as I seen what happened, but yep banned for an accident!!!!

Freebie Mom is such a joke. I was watching her live feed of the wheel, where she picks winners as you comment and like, then she spins the wheel to see what prize you get. She picked my name, and then backtracked and said she was looking at the wrong list, and picked someone else instead. Definitely a scam. I wouldn't be surprised if she was giving away the items to her friends. That is, if she even gives any legit items at all.
Wow. I was on her site for the first time today and saw she had done that wheel thing and wondered if it was legit with so many giveaways. Obviously if she said your name and then changed it, the people who supposedly won are people working for her or not real. Thanks for the hu.
I kept track of the winner names on the wheel spin the other night. When I looked them up on Facebook none had shared not liked her page. Found it very odd! You suppose to in order to be entered to win! Some I believe are fake. She gets free gifts to give away to drive people to Amazon or to click a link etc... It is scammy! Just like Publishers Clearing House. I would call them scammy under disguise as real and borderline legit.
I went from 30+ emails a month to over 600 because of this crap. I don't care if someone occasionally gets a 5$ Amazon card. And supposedly you can't be a multi winner on there so the comment on here about winning several times has to be some of the sites crap, because the lady has clearly said one win per household. She claims the "bouncy boxes" from Amazon for herself, saying she is giving away this or that, but it's not actually her, I've never actually seen her name on one of the giveaways. It's an Amazon app, that you can do an add on for Chrome to have it automatically pop up on your computer. She is just copying them to her site. I have already seen them and entered them before she posts them.

I don't know if Freebie Mom is a scam; Other than a couple kindle books, I did win one thing but it wasn't through her; it was through a link she provided. I do notice however that while she is adamant about members being active in order to participate; it doesn't seem like the ones who are winning the gift cards let alone her spin the wheel segment are as active if at all. She claims during spin the wheel that all you have to do is like, share, comment, interact and you could be randomly chosen; however, there has been many times when she picked winners who weren't present so how are they interacting in the first place. How is it you make one comment and next thing you know your a big winner. Also, I've seen that during the spin the wheel segment, you can be someone who has previously won a prize off the wheel and I think this is unfair; if it is so random, how are the same people being picked. I understand the bouncy boxes, etc; those are different but the spin the wheel thing. Also noticed that as far as the randomness. the person she is going to pick, their name will be pinned on the board at least two to three minutes before she verbally says she is going to pick the next person and how she is gonna count the fifth comment or like or emoji. There is definitely something not right about that. There's a ton of things I could go on about but I would be careful about getting your hopes up. Just like her interactions seem to go to the same group of people all the time while she completely ignores the rest of us who are actively participating, conversing, asking her questions; nothing negative or accusatory, just general questions about products.
Don't get yourself involved too deeply into this site. It would be nice to believe that someone is giving out prizes nightly especially those big money prizes but if you pay attention to her winners list through out the evening and even during the day, you will see names that when you click on them and it takes you to their site, there are no likes or sharing of her site nor are they someone you've seen actively engage on her page. For three weeks now I find that I have engaged with the same group of people all day and night and yet, not of us win anything nor do I hear any of their names get called for the spin the wheel. I also do believe that in some way, members are getting ripped off especially through the shop your way rewards site/app because I supposedly won all these points yet not a single one has gone to my email/account and she does get a large percentage of your points.

During spin the wheel tonight, she was upset that viewers were leaving and told everyone that she would leave and not spin anymore if the views kept dropping. We all did our best to share as much as possible, even some to the point of being blocked by face book because they shared too much. Anyhow, after she said that, the views dropped more and she asked us what was going on, how come the numbers were decreasing so all I simply did was post an opinion as to why I thought viewers left which was that it may have had something to do with what she said. I also stressed though that we all still supported her, was there for her and would continue to promote her and all the good she does for people. Guess what I got in return for this? I got blocked from being able to comment or post anything on her site and that is total crap. How you gonna ask your viewers a question and then block them because your unhappy with their opinion or answer; I wasn't blaming her personally, just threw out a thought because she asked us. Be careful what you say on her site; and, I'm not saying it was her; I believe it was her helpers as she calls them, particularly Melissa as she was the one manning the page at the time it occurred.
I asked the question the other day, if it were true that I wasn't going to Win because I asked to many questions, and they answered back NO that I had the same chance as everyone else. But that's not true I know that Now!! She does get paid great money to get people to sign up and enter sweepstakes. The Bouncy Houses come Direct from Amazon. You can sign into Amazon and have the Entire link of Bouncy Boxes sent to your Email. The only things a total of 3 were infact from the Amazon Bouncy Houses. I have also witnessed the way Spinning of the wheel takes place. She gets pissed if the number of people isn't high enough and just shuts the Live video down. She is very Spammy. I get frustrated when you are told about a Big Winnee and go to their page " TO CONGRATULATE THEM" and there has BEEN NO ACTIVITY ON THEIR ACCOUNT FOR OVER 5 or 6 Months.

I had hoped this Freebie Mom site was a good one. But I find it difficult to see past the Lies and Deception that are Clearly Written on the Wall.
I wouldn't bother with Freebie Mom; so what if she posts links to the Amazon giveaways, anyone can get access to those if they really wanted to. The only helpful things she has for people on her site is give a list and links to tons of sweeps and giveaways not associated with Amazon saving people the time so you don't have to go searching the internet. Other than that; she misleads people into thinking that when they click a link they are going to win or have a chance at being picked to win thousands of dollars, free groceries, products, etc because in each post, she puts like equals 2 thousand in cash, comment equals free groceries and share equals some product like a tablet or something so you do all these things then click on a link which then either takes you to an Amazon bouncy box or to a different page of hers for some other company's giveaway. I feel bad because under each post people who are participating are posting and pleading to be picked to win the things she lists in the post to which none of that is true.
I am also glad that others are starting to see the problem with her spin the wheel slots; there is no way the winners she is randomly picking are random at all. And to point out to her big supporters who want to think that people are complaining because they are not winning; first off, your probably one of her assistants or someone who may in fact have gotten lucky and actually won a prize directly from her (don't count Amazon giveaways/bouncy boxes because Freebie Mom has nothing to do with those chances unless it is something she is actually hosting) and secondly, it's not about not winning necessarily so much as it is seeing how she does the randomness during her segments. You can't sit there and say "okay, I'm going to pick the next person by counting down to the next share, like, comment, emoji or whatever it is that I see but already have the winners name pinned on the screen which everyone can see. Now, she did try to explain this when many pointed that out, but her explanation falls short and makes no sense and the people she is picking are usually not even present during the live feed and to that, well, that is one of her requirements to have a chance of being picked; to be active by liking, sharing, posting comments, engaging with the live video; how are you being picked when your not even there.
If anyone real actually does win anything from her directly that is not a friend of hers, her helpers friends or whatever, then that is wonderful but I spent many months actively engaging and participating and always seen the same familiar people and I can tell you that not a single one of us were ever chosen or won anything that came from her; what few wins you would see were from Amazon bouncy boxes from other sellers on their.
Now, my email gets a copy of every day's spin the wheel comment list; not sure when she started doing that because I never got those before so I'm thinking there are probably other issues and concerns that people are having and perhaps she is trying to provide proof that the random winners were there but it's funny because I have been pouring over every single comment and not a single negative comment nor question regarding fairness is in those conversations which is very unusual because there are always questions/comments like that. She alters the results and if you want proof, attend her live video feeds and watch; do this every night for a week and you will see for yourself.
I think the best advice I could give is just to stay away from her site because I think once you see how things are really done; your'e more than likely just going to get mad or be frustrated. There are people who have been on her site for four plus years who said they have never won; people who I've actively engaged with on her page so what does that say?

People should get away from her as fast as they can.

I participated in a live wheel spin and every single time she chose a winner it was the name above me or below me... Every time... I was different names. She also claims that the li e video feed is way behind then what we are actually seeing that the pinned post show like 2 minutes after or something and it's just how the live videos work. Umm my phone wasn't behind at all. So I don't know exactly what she ment but she was using it as an excuse to explain the winners being picked. Didn't make any sense. I just don't know about it. It gets frustrating when you interact so much and nothing happens.

Here's how I enter contests...you can go on any big company's website and scroll down to the very bottom of their home page. Nearly 90% will have a category sweepstakes/giveaways. Just click and usually there's more than just one contest.
You people need to find something better to do with your time than to put down a Facebook page that brings a little bit of joy to so many people! Freebie Mom is real, she is legit, she does not claim that all the bouncy boxes are hers, why would she? Anyone with half a brain can clearly see when they play the bouncy boxes what company or person has set them up. Also, the sweepstakes and instant wins are from other companies, some very well known ones as a matter of fact and I personally have won quite a few things from both sweepstakes entries and instant win games that she provides links to. I have also won over 60+ bouncy boxes that she has given the links to and have gotten lots of great freebies and samples, also from links that she posts. I have learned legitimate survey sites to use to make money from and have only been on her page since July of 2016. Maybe she does make a profit of some kind doing this but does that really matter? She takes a lot of time organizing all these giveaways, sweepstakes and instant win games and makes it so much easier for all those that play them. So many people on there don't know how to access these on there own, so this helps them out. Also, all those complaining about being banned, I have only heard of a few that were banned and from what I saw those few people deserved it. She tries her best to work with everyone and a handful want to cause so much trouble, nobody wants that kind of negativity on their page, would you? I'm certain you wouldn't and I'm sure many of you have blocked people from your Facebook pages for less reasons than she has! I love Freebie Mom and will continue to follow her and will keep winning because of it!
Ive been starting to wonder about freebie mom. Ive been on her site for about four months now. I have won two gift cards from her, at the very begining a 5$ one and a 10$ one but nothing else since then so i was thinking that maybe that was in order to hook me and its like if i stop now im missing out on something. But i interact way more now than i did then and have never won since then. Im starting to get confused and doubt her. Then, at tonights wheel, she kinda let it slip that sge didnt pay a dime for christmas. I thought must be nice because i havent been able to buy ANY christmas presents for my daughter or family in four years now. That is likely becayse of that person's privacy settings. For example, Only my "friends" on facebook can see my posts, pictures, items I share, etc. There are many people who have all of their stuff set as "public" so anybody can view it. Personally I don't want strangers & random people having access to my personal information. Same reason that I do not "accept" friend's requests from people that I do not know.

Freebie Mom is a scam!! I came to this conclusion when i read that she will boot people off if they ask a question she doesn't like or questions anything. So recently i signed up for a freebie she posted and instantly got a over whelming amount of spam to my inbox. So i commented and told her this. It made her upset & like everyone said, she blocked me. She obviously doesn't care about the people who follow her what so ever. They are nothing but dollar signs to her & if you have a concern instead of trying to help you or resolve it she just deletes you. Why does she care? She has 2 million followers who obey without question so why does she need to invest any time in someone who has a issue? She's just a bad person and she has proved it over & over again!!

I spent all day on her FB page and website so I can win and I still did not get picked for a gift card for participating. Something definitly shady there.
Do you pay for the car taxes though?
You pay car sales tax to your state when you register your car (if your state has sales tax). You claim the the value of the car on your federal income tax at the end of the year. Which in most cases, you will have to pay some federal income tax on. You NEVER pay a company for a prize. They company does not collect taxes. It is all done on a state and federal level.

this is a pretty old post and probably no one will see this but encase there's any chance anybody does I want to make something clear. I've heard a lot of things about Freebie Mom and i know someone personally who worked for her for a short period of time. First of all I know she does give out prizes, the one I know personally won a $5 amazon gc from her. But I was on her page for 3-4 years and never won anything from her personally. I have won on 2 sweeps that she posted though but keep in mind that the sweeps she posts are not run by her, those sweeps are from other companies/businesses/etc. Now another thing I want to make clear, I've heard from SEVERAL different sources that some people will win from her but never receive their prize. So I can't say whether or not her giveaways are legit. But here's why I stopped going to her page.. She started doing popup giveaways on her site. I was literally on her site 24/7 I can't work right now so I enter giveaways all day everyday. And never once did I see a popup giveaway, I honestly started wondering if her popup giveaways were real. So I commented on one of her posts about it and I didn't say anything too awful, I said "I'm literally on ur site 24/7 and have yet to see a popup giveaway. I'm starting to wonder about these things" and I GOT BANNED! Now that made her look even more suspicious. I was already a little worried that she may not be 100% honest about how many giveaways she does and now I'm convinced she's being a bit deceitful. Yes I do believe she does some giveaways because like I said earlier, I know someone personally that has won from her. But I do not believe she gives away quite as much as she claims. I didn't flat out call her fake or a scam yet I got blocked. If she or the people who are working for her will block someone that easily it makes me wonder how truthful the page is. Now to make another thing clear, this page did not start out as Freebie Mom her name used to be Coupon Clipinista until posts like these started circling the web and people kept receiving a ton of spam from either her page or the sweeps she posted, not sure which it was. And NOW she is in the process of changing her name once again to Free Stuff Club. There has to be a reason for this and I have yet to figure it out. I liked her new page before I was blocked so I unliked it because I found a new page that I HIGHLY recommend as only 2-3 days after finding it I won a $25 card from them and it was shipped to me VERY quickly, the page is called Julie's Freebies and it IS legit so if you're not wanting to leave Freebie Mom's page because you don't know of another page, PLEASE go to Julie's Freebies you will not regret it and it isn't a total waste of time. One more thing I would like to add. The person I know that worked for Freebie Mom got fired because people on Freebie Mom's page made up lies about her current workers at the time and she tried to go without paying them, pretty sure she did end up paying them but idk I'll have to ask my source. So whoever is working for her now made up a ton of lies about past workers so they could get the job instead. NEVER work for this woman she will fire you over rumors even though it's a site ON THE INTERNET where rumors and lies NEVER STOP. So my point is, she may do giveaways but it's not nearly as much as she claims and you may never even receive the prize she claims you won. ALSO never ever work for her you will regret it. OH I do have one nice thing to say. Her website is actually very helpful for entering giveaways I still use it but now I enabled ad block since I got blocked for no reason and have come to the conclusion that she is making a TON of money from her ads and hardly giving back.

I "won" on Freebie Mom's wheel (on her site, not the live wheel), and haven't received my prize. I posted a comment on her wall asking about it and was told that "if people were going to complain, maybe she should just stop giving out prizes". I didn't say anything rude at all. As a matter of fact, I made sure that I was as polite and cheery as I could possibly be when writing my post. Over time I have emailed her, messaged her on FB, and contacted her through her website. No responses at all from anywhere, and I have been blocked from posting on her FB page now. Oh, and to the person that mentioned Melissa in an earlier comment...I completely agree. Melissa can be a pretty big bi^*h. Sweepers beware.
Someone's just contacted me regard winning $300,000 and a car. Is this a scam?
I have been following Freebie Mom for a few months now and after tonight I will stop! I did the Spin2win on the actual page and landed on a gift card prize but it said I lost and after contacting them and showing them the picture of the wheel saying I won a gift card their response was "If you won it would say congrats" Seriously? So your wheel can land wherever it chooses but if it says I lost then I lost? Nope! I'm over it.
She clearly plays her favorites ...all and most winnings are Amazon boxes and instant wins, which has NOTHING to do with her. Her contests are set for her favorites. And if you ask her a direct question about a win you got from her, she will BAN you without word. Her Twitch wins are set only if you pay to subscribe to her. Her private FB group is all loaded by her favorites and mods. She says she is fair, but doubtful being if a "fav" wins something it's send ASAP and if your not she takes her sweet time and if you ask questions she bans you. She has been reported many times! which is why she has multiple FB accts. Her website is sent where she cannot be contacted and she only goes live showing her face in her private group. Personally, I think she is a snob and acts as if she is doing YOU a favor. Her website is spammed with ads, which she gets money from. And most of the things she posts to join up with you end up getting spammed with phone calls and private msgs. She knows this and yet with all the remarks she still posts them saying she checks them before she posts and that is clearly not true. She posted last month a website with a code for free soaps, yet I received a email from the company telling me she spammed the code on her social media and that is against their TOS, so many ppl entered cc numbers for free soap and got nothing but a headache.
